What is the story of the venue?

Built in 1885 by banker Hendrik Maurits Jacobus van Loon, the Oranjerie at Hydepark is an elegant, symmetrical building inspired by the grandeur of French palaces. Its three distinctive domes are connected by an open balustrade, crowned by a striking statue of Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers and spring.

In front lies a beautiful formal garden with a pond and fountain, once aligned with the Hydepark manor, which was sadly destroyed during the Second World War. The Oranjerie survived, and today stands as a romantic and intimate setting where history and beauty meet, making it all the more special that Flora & Nuri will celebrate their love here.

Because there are limited spots at the venue, we kindly ask that any additional plus ones be confirmed in advance. If you would like to bring a guest not listed on your invitation, please reach out to us. Depending on the final guest count, we may be able to confirm this up to 6 weeks before the wedding.

The dress code of our wedding will be Soft Elegant Garden.
We kindly ask our guests to wear light, soft, and natural tones, such as taupe, beige, sage, olive green, blush pink, and soft blue.

To let the bride and groom shine, please avoid shades of champagne, ivory, white, and cream, as well as black or bright colors. Of course, it is no problem to wear something white or black underneath your outfit.

We kindly invite you to fully enjoy Flora & Nuri’s first dance without taking photos.
This allows everyone to be truly present in the moment, while our professional photographer and videographer capture every detail with care.

For the remainder of the evening, you are warmly welcome to take photos and videos, and create your own beautiful memories to cherish.

For our evening guests, a few cozy retreats await nearby, where you can rest, refresh, and dream after the celebration.

Yes, there is ample parking available at the venue. Oranjerie Hydepark is just a few minutes’ drive from the A12. Guests can park free of charge on the spacious parking area, which also includes charging stations for electric vehicles. Additional parking is available within a short 5-minute walk.

The kitchen at Oranjerie Hydepark works with ingredients that may contain gluten, nuts, and other allergens. While care is taken, traces cannot be fully excluded. Thank you for your understanding.

Having you with us on our wedding day is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. Your presence means so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful to celebrate this special moment together.

Should you wish to give a gift, please know that it is entirely optional. For those who would like to contribute, a small contribution toward our honeymoon adventure in Japan would be warmly appreciated, helping us create memories to cherish forever.
